Productivity Measurement Software With an AI Agent That Builds Your Productivity Reports
Productivity measurement software calculates how much of the working day goes into productive work. DeskTrack measures it automatically for every employee, team and department. Then Desky, its AI agent, does the analysis for you: ask a question, and it plans the work, runs it on your own data, checks the numbers and tells you what to do next.

Dashboards show numbers. DeskTrack's AI agent does the analysis.
Most productivity tools give you charts and leave the thinking to you. DeskTrack's AI agent works like an analyst on your team: it decides what to calculate, runs it on your data, checks the result, explains it and keeps doing it on a schedule.
Understands the question
Turns "how are departments trending?" into the right metrics, period and grouping.
Runs its own analysis
Writes and runs the query on your DeskTrack data, and shows the table it used.
Questions the data
Excludes missing records, flags thin samples and odd values like a 4:30 AM average login.
Explains and recommends
Plain-language findings, an action plan and the next questions worth asking.
Works on schedule
Save any analysis and schedule it, so it lands before your Monday meeting.
Signals, not verdicts: the agent recommends a one-to-one conversation before any HR action. Decisions stay with people.
What is productivity measurement software?
Productivity measurement software turns work activity into numbers you can compare: productive hours, idle time, punctuality and productivity % per person, team and department. AI productivity measurement software adds an agent that analyses those numbers for you and explains what changed and why.
Want the live view of what is happening right now? That is productivity monitoring software. Measurement is the report and the benchmark; monitoring is the live view.
How is employee productivity measured in DeskTrack?
Work away from the keyboard counts too: customer calls from the mobile app, meetings and time at client or field locations are added to productive time. Calls to your own office phone numbers are internal calls and are not counted as productive call time. Each role gets its own list of productive apps and websites, so a developer is measured on code tools and a salesperson on CRM, email and calls. A score above 100% means productive work continued beyond office hours.
A productivity score measures tracked work patterns. It is not a measure of a person's worth, effort or business output. Read trends over 4 weeks, not single days.
Why one productivity target never fits every department
We asked the agent to compare our own departments. Same company, same month, very different work patterns.
5,270 employee-day records across 33 employees, January to September 2026. Department averages are not weighted by headcount.
Marketing is the strongest consistently measured department. Development is productive but has higher idle time. Sales and BPO have higher idle time and need context before any action: the agent asked to check whether their customer calls, meetings and field work were being captured.
DeskTrack counts customer calls, meetings and field time as productive work, so with call logging and location switched on, a salesperson is measured on the whole job, not just desk time. Every role also gets its own baseline.
Which productivity metrics does DeskTrack measure?
Every metric is captured automatically and rolls up from employee to team, department, location and company. The agent can analyse any of them, or all of them together.
Measure how your team uses AI at work
Every company is asking whether AI tools are actually being used. DeskTrack measures it from real activity, and the agent reports it by month, tool and department.
As the agent itself notes: this measures AI-tool usage, not the quality or business value of the work produced.
Monthly AI tool hours, 2026
Set productivity benchmarks, and let the agent watch them
Punctuality
Benchmark early and late login or logout patterns without a manual register.
Availability status
Rules for half day, full day and incomplete shifts from actual working and idle hours.
Distractions
Time on YouTube, social media and other unproductive sites during work hours, by role.
Employee engagement
Employees see their own data, so they can self-assess before the review.
Suspicious activities
Unusual patterns in work time and assets used, with configurable alerts.
Burnout risk
Scores above 100%, late nights and weekend work. Find people who need support, not only those who fall short.
What our managers actually ask the AI agent
These are real saved conversations from the DeskTrack AI agent in our own company. Each one replaced a report someone used to build by hand.
Runs the analysis itself
Writes and runs its own query on your data, then shows the table so you can check the working.
Keeps the context
Refine the last answer ("now split by role") without pulling the data again or repeating yourself.
Works while you don't
Schedule any analysis weekly or monthly. The answer is ready before the meeting.
Ready to send
Download tables, export the full analysis as PDF, or open the detailed view behind any number.

Recognise the August–September recovery. Review the May dip on its own. Don't raise targets because of one strong month; watch a rolling 4-week average.

Create multiple logins with role-based access. Each person sees the dashboard their job needs, and the agent answers from that point of view.

One question to the agent. A full development-team review.
Our development team at Aryavrat Infotech, Jaipur: 12 people, July 2026.
What the agent recommended: role-specific baselines instead of one target, a weekly team dashboard, a protected focus block, and supportive one-to-ones before any HR action. It treated low scores as signals to discuss, not verdicts.
